Luminary enters Steam Early Access on August 11, 2026 at $19.99 USD with regional pricing and a 10% launch week discount.
The release was moved from July 30 to August 11 to avoid a crowded release week and improve visibility.
What Ships on Day One
Refractive Entertainment describes day-one Early Access as an alpha/beta-stage experience:
- Character creator
- Basic movement and combat
- Multiple weapon types and armor styles
- Inventory system
- Intro map section (demo was ~30, 60 minutes; full EA is larger)
- Solo and co-op for up to 3 players
Developers expect roughly 1 year in Early Access before 1.0, with scope potentially expanding if the community grows (comparisons to Enshrouded or Palworld long-term, but not day one).

Hall of Heroes
Early supporters can register for the Hall of Heroes program to have usernames permanently featured in-game. Sign-up forms were available before launch via official channels.
